At our school, the vast majority of the GSA is upper/upper-middle class, white gay men. As a result, different groups were created for Trans*-identifying people and QPOC-identifying people, and the women went to the women’s center. When I used to attend groups, the Trans* and QPOC groups didn’t allow anyone who wasn’t a member of the group, including allies.
Last I heard, they are allowing white people into QPOC, and they are now running the group.
